This book is brilliant. Not only do my kids love the story and want me to read this every night, but the yawns that it creates make them go to sleep in seconds! Thanks Mr. Zettler.

My little ones love this book and keep pulling it out to
be read again and again. The illustrations are amazing and the kids
love looking for the little mouse on each page as he follows the great
big yawn he has started. Thank goodness for its hardback cover as I'm
sure it will be added to our "keep forever" library for the kids to
look back on as they grow older.

Extra kudos for the use of recycled paper inside too. It falls in line
with all of the things our kiddos have been learning in school about
being eco-friendly and the environment.

One of the best bedtime books ever! Never dread getting the kids (or yourself) to sleep again! Andrew Zettler's story and colorful images are simple enough for the youngest children to understand, yet keeps readers eager to find and follow the mouse throughout. (We all love the mouse!) Like smiles, yawns are contagious--every time I read this, I can't help but yawn. This is sure to become an-every-night request read in your house and will join the ranks of "Goodnight Moon" as a must-have bedtime story in households with young children.

This book has quickly become a house favorite! We have four children, seven and younger. "The yawn book" has something for everyone. Our first grader can actually read it, and the younger ones love to look at the really fun illustrations. The characters are all so happy, they make you smile! We all love to spot the little mouse as he follows his yawn throughout the book...all the way "to one tiny bed where one tiny pillow meets one tiny head." A great book for the whole family to enjoy!

It's rare that I write a review but when my youngest daughter(7 years old) asks me to read this book to her night after night I felt compelled to let others know. The beauty of the book is the yawn which automatically makes you feel tired and anyone with kids knows the toughest time of the day is bedtime(at least at my house). Nothing like a book that the kids will love and gets them ready for sleeptime! Kudos to the brilliant author of this book! Looking forward to the next book!

A darling book. I was so glad I was able to watch the "making/writing-of" video of this delicious children's book. A true illustrator, who draws from scratch, is like a true chef making a delectable cake from scratch...no comparison when it's the real deal. Hard work is always worth it! Buy it as a gift; read it to a child; or as I did, just enjoy it yourself..at any age.

I have four children (4 years old and under). They get bored with books very easily but have all actually sat still long enough to read this book three nights in a row. It's cute to watch them begin to yawn. They think it's funny becasue yawns are indeed contagious. I think this book is a great gift for anyone with children.

Mr. Zettler rhymes like Dr. Seuss. His story could be by Mother Goose.
This book is definitely one to keep. Read it to your children when it’s time for sleep.
Even if your kids are totally wired. This story will calm and make them tired.
After reading so much about a yawn, even you will likely sleep till dawn.
