5.0 out of 5 stars Exercise equipment
I bought the inversion table earlier and it was hurting my ankles so I bought this product and it was a life-saver! Use it all the time and can hang without pain in my ankles.

3.0 out of 5 stars husband loves
My husband loves using these, but I can't use them. I have heavier calves, and can't use the boots, and they are hard to get off and on the hang-up machine.

4.0 out of 5 stars One size fits most, July 8, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Teeter Hang Ups Adapter Kit (Sports)
A more comfortable way to do the Batman upside-down thing on your teeter-hangup. Try the standard foot bar system first, and you'll love these. They take some minor fussing about to get into, but just about as much hassle as putting on shoes. The former gymnast/ballet-dancer of the house finds them to be perfect, but I have the legs and calves of a retired downhill ski racer (The life histories will tell you why we both needed the Teeter-hangup in the first place). I only get one or two "clicks" into the tightening strap around my tree-stump legs, but it's the same quality system that is used in ski boots- so I have no actual concerns. Can't do without them. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Much easier on the feet and ankles, August 26, 2009
This review is from: Teeter Hang Ups Adapter Kit (Sports)
I purchased the EP-550 [...] and liked it very much except for the pressure on my feet. These boots make the experience much more comfortable.

5.0 out of 5 stars hanger, March 27, 2010

I have osteoporosis and found the standard clamping system hard on my ankles. The boots made a great difference. I can now stay on the inversion table longer with more comfort. The T bar is necessary to attach the boots. Don't just buy the boots without it. I find I don't need the calf loops but try it; they come with the set.

I got the EP-550 and noticed that it was a bit rough on the feet and ankles. This kit makes it really comfortable to hang completely upside down. I did notice that I had to use socks underneath the boots, but that's not a big problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy only if you invert more than 5 minutes, October 6, 2010

This works well to relieve the pressure on your instep when you fully invert. You should first consider the following before buying these:
If you invert 5 minutes or less per session you may feel they're not worth it. As one other reviewer states, the time it takes to put them on and off is a hassle (less than 5 min) to do for inverting for short sessions. If you invert more time per session and/or do exercises like inverted crunches, then it's worth the hassle.

I do my exercises in the morning and I frequently skip putting these on due to time constraints... I'll just do crunches the normal way. If I only were going to invert 5 min or less per session, I wouldn't have these. I can't dock it a star because of this issue as the product works wonderfully. If you have hairy legs, you may want to consider wearing calf high socks as the foam cushion that wraps around your calves can pull these hairs a bit as you invert.

4.0 out of 5 stars Gracity Boots/Teeter Hang Ups Kit, January 28, 2011

I bought this product a month ago and I used it a couple of times. It takes time to get used to it. In the beginning the boots felt very tight and uncomfortable. After hanging for a minute the whole blood flew into my head and it was slightly hard to breath. But now I am used to it and I can use it for more than 15 minutes without any problem.
I use it mostly for squad and abs exercises and it works really well. I feel my posture has gotten better now. It is a little expensive but it is worth it.

P.S Using gravity boots is not as easy as it looks on tv or youtube.

having bought a f7000 series inversion table from costco because i was experiencing back pain, i was hoping i wouldnt have to buy these boots. i was very wrong. using these were a world of difference in terms of pain on your ankles. these are a necessity. i took a star off because the effort to put them on is so awkward, but otherwise they are very helpful. the feeling is very similar to wearing snowboarding boots. i would recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE EP 950, March 22, 2012

The boots and adapter kit are not compatible with the Teeter EP 950. It's a little unfair to give this four stars since I was unable to use this product. I saw soo many reviews about how their ankles hurt while inverting and they helped aleviate the problem by useing the gravity boots. So I didn't hesitate to get the boots at the same time cuz my back was in inscrutiating pain and I was willing to do anything to get some relief. I do like my Teeter EP 950. I think some reviews made it into the 950 model when they were reviewing other models. Amozon also noted below my purchase "products other customers purchased with the Teeter EP950". A small flaw in their web design. I returned them and was credited fully. I guess I'll never know how comfortable they are.
Side Note. The picture at the time for the #950 didnt show the updated design which uses foam rubber clamps, hence my purchase error. I did experience pain in my ankles with the 950. But I was able to make inverting more comfortable by putting on a pair of insulated socks and my winter boot insulated liners, while not wearing shoes like the MFG says. I noticed some people wished the ankle clamps were softer and more comfortable after further review research. That would be great, except softer foam would break down and likely shorten the life of the product. Can you say LAWSUIT if you fell out due to wore out clamps? Anyways. The 950 in my opinion is top of the line for a home use item, though I don't have the luxury of trying other brands or models to compare it too. I definately like the fact that I dont have to put on boots since that might be difficult compared to my socks and liners.
Oh yeh, the optional vibration cover/cussion really adds to the decompression experiens on lower angles. I wish the motor was more powerfull and built better, but I still enjoy it sinse the vibration massage relaxes me.
Take it slow at first and stay safe ya fellow inverters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice and comfortable, February 2, 2012

These boots are nice and comfortable, however, these DO NOT WORK WITH THE EP-950 inversion table. The EP-950 doesn't support this replacement T-bar which is included (and required) to use with the boots.
