We didn't know there were so many free TV shows and movies online, and Rabbit TV makes it really easy to find stuff to watch no matter what mood we're in.

I purchased the product and evidently it was a returned item and had previously been used.

Seeing a lot of reviews on here but most don't really go in-depth, so I decided to do a more comprehensive review here.

Rabbit TV is basically a guide to watching TV and movies online - basically they've organized video content from around the web so it's easier to find shows and movies. They don't provide any exclusive access to content. Most major network shows (ABC, NBC, History, MTV) are not available LIVE as they air, but instead are available on an on-demand basis.

Pros: Rabbit TV is actually convenient, at least for TV shows. You just search for a show and in most cases they bring you to full episodes of that show. Their show "library" seems very deep, which is definitely one of the best features of Rabbit TV. They do have a large selection of movies as well, with some drawbacks which I'll get into in the cons section. They do update the site every day with new episodes and movies, so there is always something new to watch. They also post daily live streaming events from around the world every day (mostly free), so you can watch a lot of stuff that you wouldn't even necessarily get on cable. The price really seals the deal here - for $10 you really can't beat this. It might not stand up to some of the more expensive boxes you can get for your TV, but for a fraction of the price this thing is a great way to stay entertained without breaking the bank.

Cons: The movies section is not currently searchable, so you have to browse dozens of pages to find a movie. I bought my device at Walmart, but having seen the commercial since then I agree with some people that the advertising is a bit misleading. I was not expecting much for $10 myself but that's just me. Another big issue is the lack of high quality live channels.

Like a lot of people out there, I've been actively engaged in trying to drop my monthly expenses. Cutting Cable seems like a good way to do it. I purchased the Rabbit on a whim and like everyone else, discovered that it's a kind of Meta-search engine for online content. Nothing Special, but nice and convienient. My search continued until I bought and tried the Google Chromecast. Chromecast has a deficiency in available Apps, BUT does allow you to stream anything in the Chrome Browser. Once i connected the Rabbit TV to my pc and Connected wirelessly through Chromecast, Now you're talking! The Rabbit uses your browser and has an resolution upgrade to shows connected through the Rabbit. This allows for a higher than normal quality stream using Chrome and "Beamed" to the TV via Chromecast. Anyone looking for a way to curb their monthly expenses? Here's your answer: Local TV antenna-Rabbit TV- Chromecast. This Trinity will allow you to watch virtually everything you now watch on Cable or Satellite for less than 75 dollars (One Time cost)with a monthly cost of ZERO (if you choose to go that way). Or add some reasonably priced support like Netflix and HuluPlus for less than 20 bucks a month. Bye Bye Brighthouse

Seems like a good product, but not exactly what I was looking for. Was expecting something similar to cable, but it's more like a library of tv shows and movies online. Kind of set up like Netflix, really visually oriented interface. You can either browse the shows/movies by category or search for specific shows, then they take you to full episodes of the show or somewhere you can watch the movie for free.

I was expecting more of a Live TV situation (like with cable), but with Rabbit TV you can't watch live broadcasts of the networks (ABC, NBC, etc.). They do have the shows/episodes from just about every network, just not until the day after they air.

Overall I'd say it's worth the $10, but don't expect the same thing you get with cable.

I don't often give totally negative reviews, but this is seriously one of the biggest marketing rip-offs ever devised.

This is a "software locking dongle" that allows you access to software they install. You must have it plugged in to use it; their software will not work without it.

The software itself, aside from being nearly useless, malfunctions regularly. It is the worst of software production, failing to properly recognize when you've "logged in" or "out", gets "lost" if you shut your computer down without first logging out of Rabbit TV, and often simply doesn't work.

When it does "work"... all it does is compile a list of websites that contain video... sites like Hulu, ABCTV.com, YouTube, etc. I see nothing that can't be found by Googling "online video", "online television" or "online movies".

The ad states:
"Includes such channels as ABC, CBS, ESPN, FOX, Liftime, PBS and Many more! All you need is internet access and you can have TV!"

The second line is telling. If you have internet access... alternately you can visit ABC.com, CBS.com, ESPN.com... and get the same thing, without buying this device or paying a yearly fee.

This strikes me as a huge marketing gimmick that preys on people's ignorance. It would be considered of value only to the most Internet un-savvy of folks-- and those with nothing better to do than regularly search through listings for $20 a year (automatic renewal if you don't intentionally cancel your account, BTW). Or alternately, buy a new Rabbit TV dongle for eight bucks.

Look at the number of 1-star reviews. Now look at the number of 5 star reviews. Anyone notice how many of those 5-star reviews suddenly appear within a short time of one another?
