I was lucky to take Mr. Hioki's courses in telecommunications using his textbook at CCSN, in Las Vegas, NV.. His book was a great source understanding the world of electronics applied in telecommunications. Many of the new emerging technologies such as wireless communications, internet, fiber optics, are covered in great detail. He also has a great chapter dedicated to modems. Mr. Hioki manages to bring light without appearing to blind its readers. He abstains of giving the mathematical formulas, although for those savy with numbers won't be dissapointed. His book is gear to junior college student or those with a background in electronics.

the book is very well written and the author knows a lot about Telecommunications. It has a lot of schemes and charts which can help learners for better understanding of this issue. i can highly recommend this book.

This book is very useful for student and teacher also.It cover a full range of Telecom field and the most interesting is exercises that we can test our self what we had learned. But how we can buy the teacher guide of this book?

This was for a university class that will be taken the last half of the semester. It is very technical in nature so its not for general information. It is interesting if you are technical minded.
