Jak se Mos? Dobsre. (Sp?)
Listening to this album right now.. One of my favorites, for sure! I was just comparing this album cover to the Pet Shop Boys, "Actually," and thought I'd add my comments :) I love the emotion and originality on this album.. Synth-pop which includes some really cool Aphex Twin-esque charachter or accents. It's not "wussy" like some synth-pop can be.. the vocals are all pretty mellow and melodic "poppish" and somewhat delicate sounding.. very talented! but the music is driving, engaging, charged and surreal. If you like good music.. this is one to add to your collection.. But buy it.. don't be a shmuck and download.. leave that for the mainstream junk..hehe

Axoe's disc is involved, clever and diverse. There isn't just one "sound" repeated in each of the tracks but many styles from 80's synth to futurepop/ebm, and it's all held together by Patrick's vocals. If you like the work of Depeche or Devision or Wolfsheim, then this disc will be to your liking.

Perfect,

This review is from: Telegraphic (Audio CD)
I'm a big collector of an electronic music (cca. 500 cd) and I have to say that Axoe are one of the most intelligent synth-pop bands I've heard for the last years. The sound is perfect as well as the choice of the instruments and the samples. The song lyrics are very creative and various. In my opinion, Axoe are the best American electronic band ever, much better than Red Flag or Anything Box. The "Telegraphic" reminds me most of all of the album "Liberator" by O.M.D, but in a more modern and more dancing style. If you like a good synth-pop music (no some hip-hop, techno etc.) for example Wolfsheim, De/vision or Red Flag I've mentioned yet, buy this CD, it's really very good.
