Brilliant standard of playing from the Berlin Baroque Soloists. Lovers of period instruments need not shy away from these modern instrument peformances, as they are done in the "period style" we're now quite used to. There's a couple of premiere performances here and the selection of pieces is as melodious and delightful as you would find on any fine Telemann disc. This is a top-class tightly knit ensemble, and the members are clearly enjoying themselves. Excellent recording quality.
