If you're a fan of the X-Men, August 2, 2007
This review is from: Telepathic Wanderers Volume 1 (Paperback)
The description on Amazon is pretty good, but has left out other details. Nanase, a young woman somewhere between the ages of 18 and 25, returns to her home town after being away for a few years in hopes of living there once again. Unfortuately, she runs into the one person she never wanted to see again. A former teacher that she accused of murdering a student. He abducts her with plans of making her suffer for 'lying to the police'. It is then she reveals how she knew what happened. She's a telepath.
After dealing with the former teacher, Nanase realizes that she cannot move back and leaves. During a train ride, Nanase encounters new dangers when she is startled awake from a dream of the train crashing during a mudslide. She then meets two more people with 'gifts'. A young four year old boy, also with telepathy, and a young man (about the same age as Nanase) with the gift to predict the future.
Nanase is now troubled with the act that she can't save the train passengers, but is also even more troubled about how to get the young boy, Norio, off the train. Even though his step mother doesn't like him, Nanase can't just walk off with him at the next stop. So what can a telepath do to save his life?
Telepathic Wanderers is a small manga series (four volumes).
Not really appropiate for readers under the age of 16 since there are too many sexual references and various forms of violence in the series.

Great Story, Characters, and Art!, January 28, 2009
This review is from: Telepathic Wanderers Volume 1 (Paperback)
Wonderful story! I like manga with a more serious, adult tone to it and this one is just wonderful! The art is what caught my eye and the story kept me interested enough to stay up (even though it was very late) and keep reading on until I had finished the second volume!
I would recommend this to adults who like mystery and paranormal stories, comics, and manga with a more mature angle. There is some nudity and suggestive situations though, so if you are uncomfortable with that this series isn't for you.
I haven't read the whole series yet, just up until half-way or so through volume 3. So, I can't definitely say the whole series is as great as the first volume but so far I have really enjoyed it! This is one of my favorites!
