Product Description

How many times have you wished you could temporarily disconnect your Telephone Device or Fax Machine or DSL Modem or Anything plugged into a standard single-line RJ-11 phone jack? The Telephone Remote Interrupt Control Kit is the TRICK that does it. If you have a Business Phone you can turn it off for an uninterrupted lunch or after hours especially if it is a Home Business. You can use it on a phone to deny access to children or to allow patients or someone needing a period of peace and quiet to avoid the ringing by simply turning off their phone line. It is great during election years to avoid those hundreds of political robo-messages or annoying solicitors. Maybe you have a Fax Machine that is inundated by junk faxes or you just want to control when it is accessible. You can use your computer with a DSL or dial-up modem for off-line activities and keep from being interrupted by updates or maybe some hacker. Oh, you can unplug the power cord to your device, which may not be very easily accessible, but then you have to wait for it to reset when you want to use it. Not very practical or efficient especially if you do it frequently or are in a hurry. Now, with the safe and simple TRICK, you can rest assured that you are not at risk of having any of these things happen ever again. No one has access to your device and nothing is going to happen without your control. The TRICK is simple. Each Kit includes One on/off Control Module, One 7ft modular phone Cord and One double sided adhesive mounting Pad. The Control Module has an on/off toggle switch which can physically interrupt your phone line connection just as though you had unplugged it. Simply unplug the phone cord from your device and plug it into either Control Module jack, then plug one end of the modular phone Cord into your device and the other end into the second Control Module jack. The TRICK is on when switched to the green arrow and off when switched to the red arrow. Also look for our NEW! 2-line, TRICK 2.

Funny, primitive looking, home-made type item, but works how it is supposed to. Very easy to use this switch to turn on my fax machine when I want to send a fax, then turn it right back off so I can get resume phone calls. Before, I had to climb hehind the desk and wade through a bunch of wires to do it. This device makes it easy and convenient.

We dropped our dedicated FAX line after years of use. Incoming calls on the main line would get the FAX hiss. Resetting the ring number for a FAX was not satisfactory. This little switch solved that problem AND stopped all the junk faxes we got every day. It works like a charm, only took a minute to install and saves us over $300 every year. Thank you.

I was sick of political surveys, spam calls and love my naps in the afternoon. I resorted to unplugging the phone until I found this switch. Easy to hook-up, a bit pricey, but well made. works great. The only improvement I would suggest is that there are small painted green and red dots for "on" and "off". I would rather see a red light for the off position, as I have forgotten to turn it back on. Not a big thing.

It allows for easy switching off the connection to the the fax machine to avoid receipt of unwanted fax messages and also unwanted phone calls during night hours.

I needed a switch to take a vintage rotary phone off line at night in order to suppress the ring if someone called my home office late in the evening. This did the trick. A simple cutoff switch. Perfect. Thanks.

This handy little device? Is one of the BEST things that could have happened to any phone which dosent have a Ringer Off Switch. This little device allows your phone to ring when you want it to. NOT when some harrasser wants it to. All one has to do. Is connect your phone line to the device. The device then hooks into your phone jack on the wall. It was a toggle switch. Marked Red for Off Blue for On.
You will need to get one for each of your phones. As it will not work on an exstention phone unless you buy another for it. . So buy two. It will save you a lot of unwanted being woken up in the morning at 8AM or at Night at 8PM. No one has a right to call your number without your consent. After all YOU pay the Phone Bill. No one else.
I have an unlisted number, Caller ID and Call Blocking. But they can get past all that with a little help from "Their " Friends at the Phone company

So if your paying for an UNLISTED PRIVATE Number as I am. Thank Your Phone Company for passing it out. As they have done more than once. It will do you no good to change your phone number. Pay a fee to the phone company to have a new numnber. And the VERY NEXT DAY the SCUM BAGS have your new number AGAIN !!
They have a "Crystal ball".... you know....Or a "Good Ole Boy"... in the Phone Company who "charges you for a new number". "Bills you for an unlisted ,Private Number". Then passes it out like "Candy". Reach Out, Reach Out and Harrass someone with the help of your phone company. With this device? NO MORE !!
I congratulate the Inventor and wish you continued success. In Keeping our RIGHTS to Privacey a sacred part of the U.S. "BILL OF RIGHTS". To be secure in your home and poesseions.

This is a well-made little device that does exactly what it is supposed to do.

It is made for a single phone line which is what is in most homes. As I read other reviews I found the inevitable one bad review from someone who ordered without reading the description.
This is a wonderful little device that does exactly what is says it will do for home phones. Anyone failing to read the description of the item should not blame the seller for their own mistake.
