I bought this because I got tired of hauling my 8' step ladder back and forth to my mother's house. It doesn't replace a stepladder but it is much easier to haul around if you don't specifically need a stepladder. My daughter weighs about 100 lbs. and has no trouble moving this around and using it. Goes up easy and comes down easy. Pay close attention what you are doing as this is a real finger smasher if not careful. My only regret buying the 10 1/2 footer rather than the 12 footer.

We use this ladder every day in our warehouse but watch those fingers when you bring it down. It can come down very fast...ouch. It is nice and small and when I have it extended all the way up I feel safe going up it all the way to the top. I of course have a person folding it just to be safe but would think it is just as safe without a spotter.
