while some of the other albumns hold bucket fulls of nostalgia for me and will always be in rotation...this may be his best yet. me like.

This album is a gift -- beautiful music, moving lyrics -- his best since Makers. If you've been underwhelmed by his past few offerings, this album will restore your faith in Rocky Votolato. He's crafted a masterpiece.

I've listened to this a lot since I bought it 8 months ago. It really is great. The sound is perhaps similar to Makers, but perhaps with more of a positive vibe to it. "Start Over" is one of my favorites. I honestly don't understand why everyone doesn't love Rocky. I don't know why I'm only the 4th reviewer to write something on this great album after 10 months. I usually don't write reviews, but every time I've listened to this album I have felt like I should do the world and do Rocky a favor by writing about how good he is.
His recording quality is always fantastic and anyone who plays the guitar can't help but admire his ability and creativity. His lyrics are raw and poetic, often with metaphors packed in meaning. I'm a man and I'm not gay, but his voice sure is pretty and makes me swoon sometimes. Rocky is the kind of person I wish I was friends with.
And this album is probably his best.
