high gain tv amp,

I bought this amp because I have a very long lead in cable to my TV. I have found that this amplifier is not suitable for short runs because the amplifier is to strong and over drives the digital reciever. If there was a gain adjustment it would be ok , but this unit has one output and that is full on. If you have a mixture of strong stations and weak stations this unit may not be a suitable because the strong station may over drive the amp when the weak stations are received ok.

I put this in the Antenna circuit but it did not give me the gain I was expecting, fact is I see no imrovment at all.
