tight,

Yo, the guest make this album tight. The beats that are on some cuts are chulo. tracks 4,5,6,8,9,11,12,18,20,24 are tight no doubt. Picasso Black flow nd the beat for #4 make you feel it.#9 Eminiem shows us why he is stir crazy. 11 make you think about hard time as Carl Thomas blows over the emotional track and Rae kicks the verse.#18 is the tightest with two of the greatest new comers ; Nature and Black Rob. Pick this joint up. One.

For all you rap illiterates out there, I'll let you in on a little secret that D-Dott (Madd Rapper) doesn't want you to know....
Kanye West made most of these beats. That's what kanye meant by "I used to produce for D-Dott on the low" from the College Drop Out CD. See, back when he couldn't catch a break he made beats for other producers who stole his fire and never let his name out. The other secret is that 50 Cent's first major song appears on this CD. He put this dis out (How to Rob) about...well...pretty much every hot rapper at the time. This was his first big break, and then he got shot 9 times and disappeared until Eminem found him years later. Bottom line - if you want a little piece of Hip-Hop history before they hit main stream, then please buy this album.

PRETTY GOOD,

I did not expect much from the Madd Rapper. But I was pleasantly surprised when I heard this. "Stir Crazy" with Eminem is one of the best songs of the year. Other good songs are "DOT vs TMR", "How We Do", "Bongo Break", "Too Many Ho's", "Not the One", "Esta Loca", "Shysty Broads", and "How to Rob". All the rest are OK. Overall this is a good album and I recommend it.

Respect due to Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie for building a nice portfolio on the producer tip, but his career as a rapper was dead before it ever took off. With the exception of Eminem and 50 Cent, every guest appearance on the album is weak (yes, including Busta Rhymes). The lowest point is when Puff Daddy comes through to spread his wackness on "How We Do". It's easily the worst song on the album. In short, lazy hooks, wack rhymes, and sleep inducing production keep this LP from being worthy of any kind of serious buzz (which is why it was all but ignored). And if all that wasn't bad enough, every skit on this album is, you guessed it, the Madd Rapper running the same skits that can be found on any bad boy album. The joints simply ain't funny no more. Basically, he bled the turnip dry.
There a few highlights sprinkled throughout the album. "Stir Crazy" is a nice track that features Eminem ripping it -- I wish he would rip somethin' nowadays. "Ghetto" features a nice verse from Raekwon and some smooth crooning from Carl Thomas. Also, 50 Cent's "How To Rob" can be found at the very end. It's worth a few listens if you can make that far to the end of the album. Tell 'Em Why U Madd is pretty much a skit that somehow manifested itself into an album. By the time this came out, people were pretty much tired of the Madd Rapper thing being milked. This album is only good if it was intended to be a comedy album. I guess the album sales reflected just how much the people cared about him being mad. I recommend passing on this album. That is, of course, unless you want to hear what Eminem rapped like when he was still nice behind the mic. Otherwise.....avoid, avoid, avoid. Standout Tracks: Stir Crazy feat. Eminem (My Favorite), Ghetto feat. Raekwon & Carl Thomas, and How To Rob feat. 50 Cent

i almost didn't want to get this, but i sho is glad i did! The Madd Rapper (D-DOT) has about 3 different voices, so it's like he is a guest on his own album. and this album is funny as hell. the best song is by far "Stir Crazy" featuring EMINEM. The Madd Rapper & Slim Shady are a match made in heaven, that song is off the meat rack! then i really like "Shysty Broads". and "How To Rob" oh man, that song will make you wet your pants it's so funny. don't judge Madd Rapper by the dumb interludes he has done on Bad Boy Records, cuz he really did a good job on this album!

Deric " D-Dot" Angelettie has an impressed track record you want to check his creditials as a writer, producer for Bad Boy writting for acts like Faith Evans, 112, Total, the Late & Great Notorious B.I.G, also workin with other acts like SWV, Da Brat, Goodie Mob.. Now it's his turn to shine .. He comes with his debut effort Tell Em Why U MADD! On the 24 track disc .. D-Dot split time flowing in his natural speaking voice and his Alter Ego voice The Madd Rapper.. Some of the brightest moments on this album comes when alter ego Madd Rapper takes over the track like on the off the meter Stir Crazy (featuring Eminem) this song is off tha hook .. You all have to check this out.. The underground hit from last year How To Rob w/ 50 Cent are among some of the brightest moments.. other noteworthy songs You're All Alonew/ Picasso Black, Ghetto w/ Raekwon & Carl Thomas, They Just Dont Know w/ Black Rob& Nature.. Check this out dont sleep on it..

Not Bad,

This album is funny but can get annoying at times. What started as a joke on Biggi's album progressed into a debut album for The Madd Rapper. I wonder if he's going to tour in this persona. It's not a bad album and the colaborations with the other artist really made the album. Not a bad pick considering he rolls with Puff Daddy.

I cant front when I first saw this album in stores I was a bit
skeptical but I decided to give it a chance. Im relieved to say that I dont regret buying this album at all. Standout Tracks: D-DOT VS. TMR, TO MANY HOS, THEY JUST DONT KNOW, BONGO BREAK(Busta kills it!), STIR CRAZY, YOURE ALL ALONE, WHATEVA, HOW TO ROB(50 cent before the commercial weirdo),GHETTO(the s***),THATS WHATS HAPPENING, WILDSIDE,etc. Filler: roll with the cat, How we do(Puffy makes everything he shows his face on stale), Shysty Broads, Esta Loca, Not the one etc. Ill give D-Dot his props he raps well normal and raps well as his alter ego(the madd rapper)unlike some rappers whose alter egos are better than their normal selves(think Slim Shady). This album is better than anything [...] Daddy can put out nowadays!

Madd Rapper aka deric d-dot angellettie may not be the greatest rapper, but this cd is tight. songs 2,9,14,15,18,19, and 24 are all phat songs. almost every other song is good too. buy this cd if u like notorious big, black rob, lil kim, or any other good eastcoast rapper.

Somethin' needs to be done to promote this album, cause it doesn't deserve to be the 9,337th best seller. The Madd Rapper's got Madd Skillz, but it's too bad the nobody really knows that. He's gotta make a music video or somethin... Highlight cuts are Stir Crazy w/Eminem, Ghetto, and Esta Loca w/the Beatnuts.
