Anything Harlan Coben writes can be counted on to be the very best. I actually bought this combined "Tell No One and Gone for Good' for my 13-year old grandson. I read both a long time ago. He's really into good mystery, suspense etc and this is a great example of that genre.

left me breathless.,
This review is from: Tell No One/Gone for Good (Delta Fiction) (Kindle Edition)
Both books were very good, but the last few chapters of Gone for Good had so many surprises that the ending literally took my breath away. Turned me into a Coben fan. Will definitely read more books by this author.
The heads up about the suboptimal formatting was very helpful and thus it did not take away from my enjoyment of the books.

Harlan Coben's books are formulaic but provide an interesting read. In these two books the second was definetly a better story and better written. But if you're a fan of the investigative novels you should add Harlen to your read list.

Great Books Hampered by Poor Formating,

You could come up with far worse deals for the Kindle than this double pack of Harlan Coben books. Both Tell No One and Gone for Good are books with incredible momentum. I read literally hundreds of mysteries per year and Tell No One was my first dip into Coben. It actually kept me on my toes and I didn't see where it was going. Coben dishes out clues and red herrings fast and furious. It is spectacular fun and one of those books you can honestly say "if you didn't enjoy it, give up on mysteries all together."
Just based on the books themselves, it is a 5 star collection. Sadly, this is a pretty half hearted Kindle Conversion. There are literally hundreds of formatting errors and typos. The most frustrating variety are changes in scenes that are not broken apart by spaces. Just to make sure of what I was seeing, I downloaded a sample of the Tell No One stand alone book and found that scene changes were indeed marked by a space. It is particularly awful when the narrator changes between scenes. Furthermore, there was no table of contents nor just a simple link to break up the two books. If you are wondering, Tell No One ends around location 5700. That all being said, it was an irritant and not a deal breaker. I recommend this collection for the price conscious, but depending on your ability to look past some of the formatting errors, you may be better off just spending 3 dollars more to buy the books one at a time.

These were very enjoyable mysteries. Well written, engaging - you do want to read to the end of the book once you have started. I'm the kind of person who likes Ross MacDonald and Dashiel Hammett - that's the kind of mystery I would give 5 stars, if well written

I had read both of these books and loved them, so when I saw the "combo" deal available on the kindle at a reduced price, I thought I'd try it. The issue was in the formatting. I could be reading a page, and then, based on the content, I clearly had moved into another chapter, but there was little more to separate the sections than a period. It made for an awkward flow in the reading until I got used to it and could kind of anticipate the weirdness.

Good Books/Terrible Formatting,

I am less than halfway through Tell No One, and I really like the book. But, the formatting errors are the worst I have seen in any Kindle edition. The most frustrating parts are when the scenes/narrators change and it takes me a few seconds to figure out where I am. I do enjoy the story and have enjoyed the other Harlan Coben books I have read, so still 4*. If the formatting was improved, 5*.

I'm new to Mr. Coben but thoroughly enjoy his writing.
There were some issues with formatting and spelling errors for the Kindle edition. I did notify CS and they are working on it. But, if those issues tend to detract from storylines for you, I'd recommend waiting until a more "clean" version is available. Overall it's 4 stars because the content!
