Writing a review of a book is easy. Writing a review of a novel you love, identify with, think of often, quote - is challenging. Mr. Johnson crafts a well-written story that is filled with such a relatable protagonist I found myself nodding in agreement at many passages...laughed at similarities...and felt the same soul-puckers as Navin. As an avid reader, it is rare to find an author who has such a great grasp of the language and isn't afraid to write at a higher level and craft a work that is accessible, touching, funny(in many different ways), immediate and involving as in 'if I die....' There were many passages that I often think about that the descriptions and emotions were so involved, detailed and smart. The movement between different situations was fun and so interesting! Please read and enjoy the ride of a smart, funny and imaginative novel. Thanks! Mr. Johnson!

What a great book. It was a very fun, lighthearted read with real heart and thought. The characters are very believable. A great story about a man going through a life adjustment.

Through Navin, his friends and past relationships we can all find a laugh and even a bit of a mirror to look at ourselves. A quick and very worthwhile read. Buy it!
