Product Description
Screen superstar Jennifer Love Hewitt (I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, CAN'T HARDLY WAIT) heads a hot young cast in this fresh, fun comedy about life, love, and finally growing up! Instead of moving on to bigger and better things after college graduation, best buddies Phil (Peter Facinelli -- CAN'T HARDLY WAIT, DANCER, TEXAS) and Dennis are embarrassed to find themselves making pizzas and avoiding old classmates who come in for a slice. But before long, Phil is discovered by an annoyingly sweet ex-girlfriend (Hewitt) who won't leave him alone ... while Dennis summons the courage to finally face his future and the dream girl who got away. Also featuring a hilarious performance from Matthew Lillard (SCREAM, SHE'S ALL THAT) in a great cast -- the swirl of youthful confusion surrounding dating, friendship, and destiny has never been this funny!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money!, July 16, 2000
By "kstar8864" (Southern CA United States) - See all my reviews
This was such a disappointing movie. The previews made it seem like it would be great--starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Peter Facinelli and Matthew Lillard. All three of them had been in movies I loved before like Can't Hardly Wait. But this was a very disappointing movie.

First the majority of the movie takes place in a pizza parlor where Dash and Facinelli work. It is mostly about life after school where some people are going off to make the most of their lives and these guys are working in a slow pizza place. Hewitt is by no means the star or even a major role in this movie--she palys an obnoxious girl and is on screen for a total of less than 15 mintues. A total waste. And Lillard plays his usual role as a hotshot, but like Hewitt, has his talent completely wasted in this film.

I was so disapointed in this movie. I expected more from a cast that had produced other great movies in the past. I wouldn't waste my time or money on this movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's a great "Seinfeld" like movie, May 28, 1999
By paillepower@yahoo.com (Medway, Massachusetts) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Telling You [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This is a great movie about life in a modern day town. It is set primarily in a pizza shop, featuring two brothers, one who is trying to find the meaning of life and love while the other is trying to get away from it. The writers of the movie, who come from Massachusetts, filmed the movie to raise money for Leukimia pacients. The movie is basically about nothing. The plot is like a lot of SNL skits thrown together. Jennifer Love Hewitt, who most know as the kind, straight-foward, smart, girl next door in her movies, is an air-head fashion freak in this movie. She is still cute to watch. This movie is exciting all the way through. One will laugh and laugh. It is a great job done for an independent film. A

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT GREAT STUFF-Belfast, Maine, December 18, 2001
By A Customer
This small indie film from Miramax was very funny. I enjoyed every performance, mainly JLH. She is a great actress and her screen performance in this film is awesome. The rest of the actors were also amazing. Beth is so HOTT. I recommend this film highly. I advise any one who saw it and did not like it, to take a closer look.
