5.0 out of 5 stars The Tellington TTouch for Happier, Healthier Dogs
This is an excellent video. I found it to be extremely helpful. I have a dog whose is sensitive to having her feet touched. She enjoyed the the different touches. Her sensitivity to her feet has greatly improved. It has also helped her to relax more. The video takes a very detailed approach on explaining each healing touch and giving clear and precise examples. Highly...

3.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointing
I am a very involved dog owner, and I was anxiously awaiting my T-Touch video. I just watched it, and I am VERY disappointed.

First of all, the video itself is extremely poor quality, as though it is a copy of a copy of a copy from the 70s. Blurry with bleeding colors and unclear sound- hardly what I expected for $30! The video is filmed so poorly, with short 20 second...

The video is filmed so poorly, with short 20 second segments, that you can barely see what the practioners are doing or why they are doing it. All I learned were a few variations on doing quick "circles" on my dog. I do believe any fool can connect with his dog through touch and massage, and they do NOT need this crappy video's "circles." The techniques are so intuitive- you should just touch your dog to be close in ways that are comfortable for the both of you- that is good enough! There is no advice on how to advance any further than doing a few circles all over your dogs body.

The video also focused on approx. 6 dogs with problems- noise, fear-biting, limping, etc. Quite a bit of time was spent diagnosing them and chatting (approx. 60% of the tape.) At the end of the video, a follow-up is done after 2 months. The video doesn't even show the dogs at the later date, just stills of the original diagnosis, with narration. Thus, you don't even see if the dogs have improved. Not to mention, it is a waste of time for a $30 1 hour TEACHING video. I bought the video to learn how to help MY dog, not hear the life stories of 6 random dogs.

What a disappointment this video is! This video is all hype and no substance. Here's the $30 secret- put your 4 fingers together and on your dog. Rest your thumb and palm on the dog as well. Now have your 4 fingers move in a circle. Start over in a different spot. Ta-Da! Infuriatingly simple, in my opinion! I wish I had spent $30 on toys and gas money to the beach instead!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great information and Tools, March 9, 2011

I watched this VHS which was a new angle onto animal training. This was the bodywork side that I fail to see anywhere else, though there is now quality progressive animal training available.

I highly recommend the DVDs, training and equipment offered by TTouch. They use progressive animal training which is gentle and effective. We bought the dog vest which was comfortable for the larger dog we gave it to.
