5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Tempeh Recipes, September 1, 2009

This review is from: The Tempeh Cookbook (Paperback)
This book is filled with delicious tempeh recipes that are very easy to make. After making several recipes, I've "hooked" several people on eating tempeh as another excellent source of protein & a wonderful meat substitute. This cookbook provides many recipes for "comfort foods" that most everyone would enjoy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but..., September 17, 2010

This review is from: The Tempeh Cookbook (Paperback)
Thoroughyl pleased with the seller. The book itself is about as definitive as it comes when trying to learn what to do with tempeh. That said, the recipes themselves are not exactly tasty. The biggest problem with tempeh is obtaining suitable flavor AND texture. This book will give you lots of ideas on how to work with tempeh. But after that, you have to figure out how to make a dish with tempeh taste good.
