4.0 out of 5 stars A Rising Star
Tata Young....most people here in the USA probably never heard of her. In fact,I discovered this talented singer totally by accident while fishing around on You Tube! This singer could be a #1 star. She has talent, charisma, and attitude. All she needs to do is be more selective with her song choices. I was surprised to read that this singer had recorded a number of albums...

Tempereature Rising is Tata Young's second studio album produced locally in her native country of Thailand, but many of the songs are recorded in the US with a lot of help from famous songwriters such as Natasha Bedingfield and Diane Warren, sampling, as well, at one point, a Paul McCartney song with Come Rain Come Shine.

3.0 out of 5 stars Temperature Dropping, October 25, 2006
Tempereature Rising is Tata Young's second studio album produced locally in her native country of Thailand, but many of the songs are recorded in the US with a lot of help from famous songwriters such as Natasha Bedingfield and Diane Warren, sampling, as well, at one point, a Paul McCartney song with Come Rain Come Shine.

For the most part, the songs are ordinary and what you'd expect from an uprising star such as her. Her R&B tunes stand out in this album, with Betcha Neva and Back Outta This being the dominance, but there are also a few happy, upbeat and dance-heavy songs such as Nin-YO!, the first single off the album, as well as Come Rain Come Shine, which will put a smile on your face. Apart from these four, the other songs are quite forgettable and not really special.

Not as special as her first album, but this sophomore effort should be enough to get her a few fans.

She has talent, charisma, and attitude. All she needs to do is be more selective with her song choices. I was surprised to read that this singer had recorded a number of albums in her homeland. I now have 6 of her albums (including some of the rare early ones).

"Temperature" is a good album with lots of attitude and spunk. It's styles cross over into Dance,Rock,Pop,Ballads, and alittle smithering of rap.Because her music encompases this mixture of styles I think many listeners would find this album (and her other albums) very entertaining.

I hope her music will become more readily available here in the USA!

This review is from: Temperature Rising (Audio CD)
I bought this album which included the music video "El Nin-YO!".

Only song that is worth the album is 'El Nin-Yo!'. The rest is just remakes, besides 'Zoom', same style as to 'Dhoom Dhoom'.
