Harriet looked forward to meeting her family, fiancée, and a close family friend who was also her father's medical partner. While there she literally sees then meets the man of her dreams. Misconceptions and meddling may interfere with her dreams coming true.

In true Neels style, the reader is taken on a tour of Friesland and its culture while telling the story of Friso and Harriet.
