I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found I could not put it down! It is a great read! The character development is very real and regardless of one's life experiences, the reader will be able to relate to some aspect of the character(s)whether it be from the character's personality, interpersonal relationships or perception of life! I was only disappointed when the story came to an end and hope the author does a sequel if not another book!! She has talent!

A good first novel. The story and the characters are very real and I think we all can relate to what's going on throughout the book.
The story is about 2 women coming from different backgrounds with very little in common and their teenage daughters dayly life, and how they handle difficult social and political situations. I would have liked more depth and the ending was too positive and seemed a little unrealistic to me. |
