This is the best book written on the subject of the UNESCO effort to save these ancient Egyptian temples and monuments during the 1960s. The author gives an oversight of the political situation of the time and why and how things happened as they did.Many books have been written on this subject but only this one has all the facts. Tells who did what and how and why. A real must have book for anyone interested in Nubia and UNESCO.
