5.0 out of 5 stars Great Shot at a First Book, November 3, 2003

This review is from: Temporal Armageddon (Paperback)
A friend of mine loaned me this book. While I had never heard of the author, the title and cover art seemed appealing, so I decided to give it a read at the prompting of my friend.

I was very pleased with what I've read in this book. This book is a science fiction/adventure book and has a LOT going on. The plot at first seems very complex but things iron themselves out eventually and the first 3 or 4 chapters finally come together and start to make sense. Of course, by about midway through the book, it all starts to make sense! Don't get me wrong, the book is not difficult to follow, but the author jumps back and forth between galaxies (Milky Way and Andromeda) a number of times to show what's going on on the protagonist's side AND the antagonist's side. There are some surprise twists in this book as well. The science and technology that the author includes in here are very interesting as well. There is much discussion about black holes and wormholes as well as biometric security.

All in all, this is a good book and well worth the read. My friend actually read it in its entirety in 2 days - so there's a lot to be said for that, as well (yes, I took a little longer!)
