A Dilly of a Mistake Turns into a Delightful Romance, June 4, 2010
This review is from: Temporary Paragon (Harlequin Romance #2889) (Paperback)
Beth Murphy runs Rentasec, a temp agency in Boston that specializes in secretaries. She is single, has a computer that takes up a whole room (the book was written in 1987) that she is getting to know and she is managing a losing little league team. Then one day her 18 year old niece Stacy comes to her seeking help. She is in trouble.
The man in question is one Richard "Ramrod" Maccomber who runs a successful publishing house and is know as one of Boston's most eligible bachelors. Beth takes a job at his firm, planning to force him into marrying Stacy. However she finds herself falling for the man herself. And he doesn't seem like the kind of man who could have done such a thing to her young niece. Could she possibly have misunderstood and gotten it all wrong?
This is a delightful romance that will have you guessing right up to the end. Lots of fun in this one, but remember, as I mentioned above, it was written a long time ago, so the technology may not be up to day, but that does not take away from this excellent story.
