4.0 out of 5 stars He meets the love of his life the night before her wedding!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the effort
unless one likes reticient women who are constantly in denial, this book can prove frustrating. I am a die-hard Sandra Brown fan, but Megan really startedto annoy me as she had a man who would do anything for her and put up with a lot of rubbish from her. Somewhat reminicent of Linda Howard's All that Glitters which also had an annoying heroine.

Three years later, Megan finds herself relentlessly pursued by Josh, who she believes is a heartless womanizer.

I found this book impossible to put down. Very explicit sex.

5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC!! A MUST READ!, June 21, 2001
By A Customer
I love this book! I've read many of Sandra Brown's novels and this is a fantastic one. I think the story line and characters are extremely realistic. I couldn't put the book down and read all night until I reached the end. I can't imagine anyone reading this book and not completely falling in love with Josh and having a true understanding for Megan and her feelings. It was FANTASTIC!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sandra Brown fan? - definately worth reading!, May 13, 1998

I think that this book was great. If you are looking for something to just make you forget, this book will do the trick. Definately sexual tension throughtout the entire book - and sexy dialogue. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think you'll enjoy it!

3.0 out of 5 stars I've got mixed emotions about this one!, March 7, 2003

I have REAL mixed emotions!!! I am giving it a 3 but really I would like to give it a 2 1/2. It really bothered me how Josh practically stalked Megan during the first of the book- he was REAL pushy too-constantly sneeking kisses, forcing kisses. I kept thinking "where is the respect for her?" The sex is very explicit, too. It's constant. Megan was too silly at times for me, too. Like her thinking of ruining Josh's reputation? The story is sweet- love (or was it lust?) at first sight, though Megan was faithful to her first husband. I can see where other reviews would rate it high because of the story line- Josh loving Megan sooo much and it being a dream come true for him to have the opportunity to seek her due to the unfortunate death of his friend, Megan's husband. But I really don't think I feel comfortable in suggesting this book.

3.0 out of 5 stars BROWN KNOWS WHAT HER READERS WANT, AND SHE ALWAYS DELIVERS, May 21, 2011
This review is from: Temptation's Kiss (Audio CD)
Fans of Sandra Brown know what they're getting when they opt for another story by this mega selling author - romance, then the love boat appears to be sinking, and finally as has been interminably said love conquers all. For this reader/listener Brown's work is "escapist"literature - an easy read/listen on the beach or plane.

What raises the bar for me on this story is one more superb vocal performance by Renee Raudman. She's an accomplished actress who brings understanding and depth to her narrations. Raudman's easy to listen to voice makes a predictable plot pleasurable.

Handsome, powerful Josh Bennett (have we ever seen a Brown hero who was not blessed in the looks department?) has set his sights on Megan Lambert. She's a young attractive widow who seems to have nothing on her mind but work. That's a good choice for her because she's sales manager for an Atlanta radio station and the demands of that job are great. Josh is a major advertiser so she can't afford not to play nice with him, but he wants a great deal more than playing nice. How does he go about getting it? As is her wont Brown treats us to a bit of a twist with that one.

Brown well knows what pleases her followers, and she delivers it again in TEMPTATION'S KISS.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing, April 5, 1999
By A Customer
I'm not a big fan of Sandra Brown, but have found a few of her books entertaining. However, this one falls very flat, with very unlikable characters. How can one respect a heroine who kisses another man right before her wedding, and later admits to having loved him since then? Puh-lease! Pure trash.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lame story and very boring., August 25, 1998
By A Customer
It was a waste of time reading this book. I've read both the Witness and Fat Tuesday and totally enjoyed them but this book was so lame, the story never took off, I could not wait to finish it (only because I had started it and it was a very short book) so I could move onto another book. I am very grateful that I borrowed this book and did not spend one cent on it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Temptation's Kiss, January 15, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Temptation's Kiss (Kindle Edition)
I am a fan of Sandra Brown but I have to say this book disappointed me. It was OK, just OK. The romance was pretty implausable and filled with cliche. Not worth the 7.99 I paid for it and not really billed as an old romance genre that it is.
