I LOVED this book a breath of fresh air for me. Elle and Dominic was truly meant for each other and I love that Dominic did not start the relationship until after opening night but love it love the concept of her being an opera singer keeping fingers cross that there will be a story with the best friends.

Another great Sims novel, June 26, 2010
This review is from: Temptation's Song (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
I'm excited about the upcoming novels that Ms. Sims will craft for Elle Jones' friends, Patrice Sutton in movies and Belana Whitaker in classical dance. If the novels are as creatively wonderful as "Temptation's Song" is, it was be tough waiting until they are in the book stores.
Ms. Sims has this gift to include family ties that demonstrate the ability to make us understand how difficult it is for a single mother to raise her daughter. This is true in "Seduced By Moonlight," another Sims novel where several generations of women successfully raised their daughters alone. And in Dominic's family well balanced parents and siblings though multicultural. She also gave us a strong, independent woman in Elle Jones and a very secure and manly man in Dominic Corelli as she did with Sonny and Jonas, respectively, in "Three Wishes."
For the first book in the trilogy, again we are off to explore an exciting county, Italy, as we did in "For Your Love" in Ethiopia. I love that Ms. Sims is a stickler for details and that she makes her characters multi-dimensional. Elle is an opera singer with a range that permits her to sing in other musical genre. Dominic is an operatic composer.
Molte grazie, Ms. Sims, for yet another novel with unique characters, interesting locals, and a fantastic story line. Bellissimo!!

Janice Sims Never Disappoints, September 17, 2010
This review is from: Temptation's Song (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Janice Sims has been one of my most favorite authors for over a decade. Whether she's writing about marine biologists, wineries, or the opera, her level of expertise is always conveyed effortlessly through her writing and she is always able to combine culture and knowledge with romance. I always learn something new when I read a Janice Sims book and Temptation's Song was no different.
I was hooked on Elle and Dominic from the very beginning and their romance and mutual respect was beautifully written. In addition, the imagery and descriptions really helped me visualize the opera and the streets and cafes in Italy, not to mention the countryside. I haven't been able to curl up with a good book in a long time and stories like Temptation's Song remind me of what I've been missing.
Janice Sims' books always put me in a good mood so if you're a book lover then I encourage you to give it a read, especially if you're having a bad day because one you get started, you'll forget all about it. ;-)
