"Mustang Man" by Vonna Harper. Highly regarded wild mustang trainer Miguel Perez and Bureau of Land Management Agent Dawn Glass meet and are attracted to one another; each eagerly dives into the hay together.

"Long Hard Ride" by Melissa MacNeal. During a nasty storm in Wolf Point, Montana, ranch owner Diana Grant stops to give rodeo performer Michael White Horse a lift. Recently widowed and knowing her Seven Creeks Ranch is about to be owned by the bank, Diana and the younger Michael are shocked by the heat they emit.

"Hot Blooded by Delilah Devlin. In the Texas Panhandle, rancher Adam Youngblood rescues Cass McIntyre, but his payment for saving her life is tough love. He owns her.

These are three interesting erotic outdoors romances in which the settings play important roles. In Mustang Man, the horses steal the show; while in Long Hard Ride the older woman and younger man is a nice pairing; and Hot Blooded takes an adjustment to the couple's S&M "nasty" relationship. These are three different cowboys who more than just tempt their women in this fine collection.

Melissa MacNeal's novella Long Hard Ride shines as part of the Aphrodisia Anthology Tempted by a Cowboy.

Diana Grant is seriously down on her luck. Recently widowed, Diana is about to have the bank foreclose on her ranch. But she finds the ultimate pick-me-up when she meets Michael White Horse. Michael is an accountant turned rodeo rider on his way to make a name for himself on the pro circuit when his truck breaks down. He finds a rescuing angel in the hot and lusty widow. An afternoon delight turns into an all night ride. As comfortable as he feels with Diana, Michael has had his dream derailed by a woman before and he's not about to let it happen again.

This devilishly tempting rodeo rider is just what Diana needs to take her mind off her troubles, but she doesn't expect to want him to stay. And she can see he's ready to move on, despite his promises to help her find a way to keep her ranch. She loans him her husband's truck, hoping she might get to see him again when he returns it.

Even when these two go their separate ways, they find ways to come together. Whether it's heating up hotel room sheets, the phone lines or the front seat of a pick up, Diana and Michael share a chemistry that goes deeper than pure lust.

With Ms. MacNeal's incomparable knack for double entendre, sparkling banter and scorching love scenes, I enjoyed every moment of a Long Hard Ride, almost wishing it could have gone on a little longer.

I loved this book. I am not usually an anthology person, but when you have a great author like Delilah Devlin included it is a sure buy. This book will get you hot and bothered but keep you on your toes. I could not put it down!
