I've been Promoting them ever since I Found them...,

There hasn't been a person that I've introduced to this group that hasn't wanted to get this album themselves. They were ahead of their time. Their music is Very TODAY.....They have varied styles of music on this album. From Melodic trancy styles in "Free" to A capula of a Carpenter song in "Close to you" to freestylish (high-NRG) tracks in "Tempeted" and "I wanna Be There" to a break-beat track "Supersonic". The Vocals of Jill "Atkin"(not sure on spelling) on most of the tracks are superb. This was a Better album then their "Enveloptuosity" Cd (which was good, but "Tempted" Blows Their Earlier album away with Richer (more vocal trained) Vocals, driving Beats, Variance in isntrumentation, Very much synth Drivin music, And Passion. Producer Ray Carol Arranged some very nice tracks on this album. Even though their Music was not appreciated back when they were 1st released, I have yet to meet anyone who dislikes their songs, I keep promoting. Maybe we can get a revival!!!

An unbelievable blend of electronica and lusty vocals,

Try this: buy "Tempted", plop yourself down on West Broadway in NYC's SOHO, put the CD in your discman, turn up the volume and walk. Pretty soon, you'll feel like you're in another world; everyone--and for that matter, everything--looks and feels good. A CD written and produced in New York, "Tempted" will grab you with its inventive sounds, driving beats and, best of all, a voice so passionate and fresh you'll never want to take the CD out of the player. The man behind the music, Ray Carroll, is a stylish genius. The music shows that its authors have deep sensibilities for tasteful yet provocative music. This CD is really first-rate!

Beautiful techno/pop with wonderful vocals. Even a few orchestrated pieces, which offer a nice change of pace. Overall, a beautiful album.

Ever since I heard this Cd in my friend's car years ago when it came out, I couldn't get enough of it. And years later still love the music. I did many searches throughout the internet to see if they made any more music, but haven't been able to get ANY information whatsoever. Love this group.

DA BOMB!! Really!,

Quite simply, this is a fantastic set from the rather enigmatic Waterlillies. The songs and production are shinier than their super-cool 1992 debut, "Enveloptuosity" (another must-have, if you can find it), but that beautiful voice is where it's at! Tracks 1 thru 5, as well as 9 and 10, are absolutely groovetacular. My favorite alternates between "I Wanna Be There" and "Never Get Enough", but every track offers something unique to enjoy. Call me a freak, but this CD has not left my changer since I bought it back in 95. Definitely one of the top 10 CD's of the decade. What's next Sandra-Jill? Please don't make us wait too much longer!

I'm a avid fan of techno, and this is one of the best lyrical techno I've seen yet. The only cd that comes close is Ray of Light (Madonna). Wonderful soundtrack! Great CD for the car.

This "Album" was released in 1994 and is absolutegorgeous "song-based" trance-techno album. Unfortunatelly since mainstream media in the U.S. automatically bans anything electronic or anything with a house-dance beat, this album got very unfairly ignored. It is definitely one of the best albums of the 90s. Every song has the wonderfull siren-female voice singer, performing sing-a-long melodies. It definitly puts me in a trance, while giving me a workout. Buy this album! You wont regret it! I wish songwriter Ray Carroll makes more albums as Waterlilies, even if independently released and they could promote it on the web.

Jill and Thomas were friends of mine until my own madness ripped that apart. I always admired her work and hearing it now is eerie and sad.

The waterlillies, a very good but under-rated band released this cd years ago and yet it sounds so modern, which makes it a classic, for all you electronic-sound-music-fans. Sandra Jill Alika, the vocalist has a voice of an angel. It is a cd to treasure, if you like upbeat and dance-able tunes.

Every derivative of the word passion comes to mind when you listen to this CD. The lead singer's voice is phenomenal and whoever mixed the music is a genius.
