After Natalie Imbruglia and Delta Goodrum comes yet another sensitive Australian with winsome tales of heartbreak and lost love. Similar to Tori Amos, Missy Higgins is already big news in her native country. A gently strummed guitar opens the song, before a lovely accompaniment of piano and cello ushers in a classic 'break-up' lyric. Higgins has an unusual voice in that she's not afraid to let her Aussie accent shine through while singing. Backed with 'Dancing Dirt Into The Snow'. WEA. 2005.

While it's only four songs long, you get your money's worth just to hear the three live tracks on this EP.

Greed for Your Love is a decent non-album track on the Missy Higgins EP - however, hearing it live with just Missy and an acoustic makes it a much better song.

Scar is one of the better songs on Sound of White - however, I personally don't like the rushed sound of this version live. It's quite a bit faster than on the album, but it's just her and an acoustic again so it's an interesting listen.

The Special Two is the class of this EP. With just Missy on piano, this is an excellent version and definately worth the price of purchase alone.
