Editorial Reviews

From the back cover

Travel thousands of miles across the beauty and grandeur of Australia to come mere inches from certain death with 10 deadliest snakes in the world. Renowned reptile wrangler Steve Irwin revels in danger of the cold-blooded variety and you will too as you learn about and witness the secretive behavior of these feared denizens that silently slither along the earth's surface. Follow Steve on his death-defying-- some would say insane!-- quest as he handles, among others, the death adder, the giant tiger, the western brown and the deadliest snake in the world, the fierce. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Snake-bite kit not included!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great look at the world's deadliest snakes!, September 25, 1999

I really enjoyed this movie because Steve Irwin loves and respects these reptiles. It is fun and a little scary watching him approach and even handle some of these snakes. The scenery is beautiful. You won't find this dull!

I have A comment to Kevin James, Steve focuses mostly on Australian snakes is because most of the worlds deadliest snakes are in Australia like the Inland Taipan or Fierce Snake

I agree with Kevin James. It focuses on all Australian snakes. The deadliest in most herpatoligist's oppinion are the Ophiophagus hannah (King Cobra), the Dendroaspis polyelpis (Black Mamba), the Boomslang, Inland Taipan. I guess there is really no way to tell
