4.0 out of 5 stars Works with Droid
Works great for small touch screen buttons and apps like chess where my fingers are to big to hit the screen accurately. Doesn't slide well though when you want to answer the phone or slide to a different app. folder.

This review is from: Ten One Design Pogo Sketch Stylus for Apple MacBook (Electronics)
Bought this product mainly for writing on my iPad's various note taking applications, but discovered its sponge tip is very annoying. The sponge tip is designed to have a semi-spherical shape that is fairly responsive with iPad's touch screen interface during the initial use. However, often time, the tip becomes flat (as you would from compressing on a sponge or a form product) after writing few words and it just goes downhill from there for both the feel and responsiveness. You have to constantly pinch the tip to make it go back to its original shape to write. I will suggest those considering buying this product to look for some stylus with a harder tip.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works Well for Ipad, June 14, 2010

Was really surprised that I liked this stylus. Its a little lite, but has a good smooth feel and works pretty easily on the iPad. Wish the tip wasn't so wide, but of all the stylus I've tested, this is my favorite. I've actually ordered a few just to be sure I'm not stuck without one. Also comes in other colors like gunmetal grey.

Purchased this for use on my iPad and I'm a little disappointed, especially for the price. While it seems to conduct the touch to the screen most of the time, it fails just enough to be awkward. Plus, the clip broke within a week of purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works as well as can be expected, July 29, 2010

the pen works pretty much as expected. The issue, if any, is that it doesn't write with the same precision as a Wacom style tablet stylus but that's really the different in the two tablet technologies, not the pen itself.

1.0 out of 5 stars too low tech, July 11, 2011

If you want a good stylus for an iPad then this is not it. the tip does not work very well at any angle other than straight on. I thought it was okay until I bought the Skosh stylus. Skosh Capacitive Stylus Pen for iPad+iPhone with Clip-Black (also available in Silver Clip Style. Smaller Tether Style is available in Pink, Silver or Black)
What a difference a high quality stylus makes! I've learned that if you are spending $500+ on an iPAd or other device saving money on the stylus is not a good idea

This stylus is not suited at all to apple products. I used it on an iPad, and it needed to be pressed down onto the screen rather hard for any effect. Not at all what I was looking for when I bought it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not purchase...., June 11, 2011
This review is from: Ten One Design Pogo Sketch Stylus for Apple MacBook (Electronics)
I hope this review does get published, as I'm not going to sugarcoat my opinion.
I went to a store, looking for a capacitive stylus, and when one of the salespersons brought me one, it happened to be a pogo sketch stylus...

The first thing I noticed was how "spongy" the tip of the stylus was. I then tried to use my touchscreen device (which only responds to the finger touch, like the ipad and other devices), but it would only respond if I put a LOT of pressure on it. And it only worked on occasions...
How is someone supposed to sketch using this? (any sketch artist will tell you they put different levels of pressure into their strokes). How can you properly use this if you need to press hard on it, every time?

Apple should NOT be using this as their primary capacitive stylus. I'm ordering a boxwave, instead.
I'm only saying this, customer to customer: don't spend your money on this. I know I didn't.

4.0 out of 5 stars It works! Takes some getting used too with zagg shield!, February 15, 2011

So far so good with the pogo sketch. Writes well and comes out looking like actual writing. My handwriting definitely suffers a bit with it though but as I use this mainly for signing documents to send to realtors and title agencies I am only signing my name and dating most of the time. My only problem is sometimes the initial pressure is not recognized on the iPad and I have to start writing again, also if pressure is not applied throughout the entire sequence of writing it can only recognize part of what you wrote. I do have a zagg shield on my iPad which could definitely be causing interference and also not make writing as smooth over all since it does not have the original glass surface. Hope you find this review helpful!

2.0 out of 5 stars Wow, what a disappointment., January 31, 2011

This review is from: Ten One Design Pogo Sketch Stylus for Apple MacBook (Electronics)
I purchase almost everything online. I spend a lot of money each year online on just about anything. I am embarrassed to say that this is the first review I have ever written. That said, this is also the first time i feel so compelled to take the time to do so. The Pogo Sketch Stylus is by far the most disappointing thing I have ever purchased. How complicated could a capacitive stylus be? First, it is way too small/skinny and is super uncomfortable to hold. Second, the cell/foam tip is terribly difficult to get results from. You have to push hard to get any response and it is spotty at best. The pen "skips" a lot in most handwriting apps. After doing a little more research, i purchased the BoxWave Stylus and it is SOOOOO much better and so much more responsive. It's how any stylus should be. If you aren't convinced that this is a terrible product and you still want one, you can have mine for $2.50 (cost of shipping). The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is that technically, it does work...just not well.
