Very late in production, this book got cancelled, and therefore never saw print. Therefore it isn't out of print.

Net rumor attributes this cancellation to an ideologically-motivated decision by Farrell's publisher, who had recently changed heads. The new responsible party, says the rumor, found the book deviationist from her own politics and reputedly suppressed the work.

However, perhaps Farrell's 1999 release will contain substantial portions of this unpublished work. Perhaps it will contain most of the parts that inspired his old publisher to cancel it.
