5.0 out of 5 stars The Pesach Story
This is one of them most remarkable childrens books about the Pesach story, with a wonderful rhyming storytelling style as good as Dr Seuss, Shoshanna Lepon gets the story of Pesach and Moses struggle to free the Jews from Egypt, across to children loud and clear.
This is done in a delightful way-and the illustrations are also wonderful and amusing.
A must for...

A must for all Jewish children, the book can also be enjoyed by Christian children, to learn the story of Moses and Pharaoh.
At the end of the book, there are some questions for discussion, and a fascinating Did you know page, with some things that many adults will find interesting to discover about Egypt and the Ten Plagues.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have book!, August 8, 2007
I don't understand why the guy gave this book one star. I used to teach first grade, and I used this book to help reinforce the ten plagues. The kids really enjoyed both the rhymes and the pictures. Maybe his daughter was too young for it?

I liked this book so much for my class that I bought it for my own kids at home.

1.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable, May 29, 2007

(REAL NAME)
I cannot believe that a book like this is written for children. My cousin and his wife read this book to their 3 year old daughter and she now has constant nightmares about monsters. I read the entire book the other day and am completely outraged to the point of shaking that this type of "literature" is being made for children. I am a horror movie fan, and this book is seriously gorier than many of the horror flicks I've seen.

To those that think this is appropriate for children: don't trust your judgment. This book, and also the toys that are marketed along with it to explain the plagues to children, are a total outrage. I cannot understand how anybody can look at this and think it can possibly be understood by children. What do you think a 3 year old thinks when looking at a picture of a guy in a bathtub filled with blood and blood all over the walls??!?! I happen to be Jewish, but in no way can I imagine that this is appropriate. The author and publisher of this book should be investigated for endangering the welfare of children. Then again, if parents see this as somehow appropriate then they're just as bad.

Get some perspective religious people!!!!!!!!!!

Yeesh!

P. S. this book does not deserve even one star, but Amazon doesn't allow no stars.
