Product Description
Christian Mathews was a smashing success by most standards. Young, rich, handsome and articulate, he burned as bright as any star on Wall Street. Despite his outward facade, he was plagued by unseen sorrow – sorrow he couldn’t recognize, because he couldn’t see himself for what he had become. Then a phone call changed his life. A father he never knew had died and left him an estate of "unthinkable wealth." But there was a catch. In order to claim the fortune, he had to crisscross the country on a journey to meet ten people and, from each, discern a life secret. It was a journey that would bring him more than wealth and more than he thought possible.

The book moves quickly, is never dull, and always entertains. I believe those that read this book with an open mind will be touched by its simplicity and message. It will definitely make you reflect on your own life.

Well done. Thanks, SME

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational genius., January 4, 2006
I found the book to be totally inspirational. Forget about "don't sweat the small stuff" - type books. This book explores the true meaning of happiness, as well as the important things in life. A must read for any young aspiring professional. Should be required reading for all college students.

4.0 out of 5 stars Touching, funny, and clever , December 28, 2005
This is the perfect book for anyone who is trying to figure it all out. I think everyone will see a little of themselves in the main character. It makes you think about who you are and where you are going without being too heavy. The book is like good advice from someone who has been there too. There were lots of little references to make you laugh and insights that you never see coming. It is the perfect Sunday afternoon read.
