A clear and concise reading for managers who are searching for the basics on releasing the individual and collective performance potential of employees. Fundamentals on delegation, job descriptions, scope of responsibility and authority, performance reviews, and giving directions, plus many others are described in an easy to understand format. Each chapter is direct and to the point. It is a book that can be read quickly and easily yet the content is so well presented and on target that it is useful as a desk reference. When I first picked up this book I was a bit iffy about it because the title did not draw me in. But after careful review of this book it served me very well! Good read very simple to understand.
