5.0 out of 5 stars Galaxy Police
In my opinion, this has got to be the funniest part of the whole series of Tenchi Muyo! Seina Yamada has extreme bad luck with every step he takes in life, but it seems it's a good thing for finding pirates. To top it off with Seina Yamada's sidekick robot, NB, is outstandingly funny. How they came up with this character is beyond me, but it helps the series a hell of a...

3.0 out of 5 stars Your GP Licence has expired!!.
You may or may not agree with me, but not every Anime ever made is great. The cover art on both of the box & cases are pretty much the greatest thing out of this 26 episode series. I might seem a little hoarse, but this show is nothing compared to the first two original Tenchi shows "Tenchi Muyo: Ryo-ohki" & "Tenchi: Universe". I didn't count "Tenchi In Tokyo" because...

On the real, I watch different episodes of this box set every day, for a great laugh. I wouldn't suggest this for kids though as it seems to be for a much more mature audience. Standout episodes in my opinion are the training episodes at Amane's house, when he meets Neju, when he goes back to earth and visits Tenchi and his roomies, and the episode where he gets his first paycheck as a captain. This show is absolutely hilarious. The only part I didn't like about the series is that they changed the voice actress for the original Ryoko. The original voice suits her best in my opinion. Besides, that one only flaw, this is a great series and I would recommend it to anyone who is of a mature age, who loves to laugh at animated comedy. Peace!

well it was better than some people put it out to be i liked it but it ended kind of wierd it kind of left you hanging for a sequel but the sequel might be a little better of some points the set is mad for the younger age i do recomend it for some younger class even though it has some points where the adult class might like frown on. but it was good and i recommend it to everyone who is a anime fan

b Audio and Video: /b Funimation get's an A+ from me for this complete series. The dubs are fantastic not to mention the music and video quality. If I didn't know any better, I'd say this was a domestic creation! Seina Yamada always has bad luck but that changes when he meets cute alien girls.

If y'all love Tenchi Muyo GXP then I perfer y'all get "Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki - Here Comes the Bride" movie.

I didn't count "Tenchi In Tokyo" because that series is not as the first two. I will admit that the show is good & interesting in the first 14 episodes, after that with the reunion of the original Tenchi cast, of course with a all new voice cast, which totally kills it, for me at least. The storys on episode 15-26 are pointless, & the missons they have in space are not as funny as "Tenchi Universe" was. The show ends of course with a incomplete wedding that actually makes you want more of this show. There's no real point to this series & Siena, the star of the show, isn't really special & doesn't really have a reason for being in space. This show costs to much money for the exacted same thing that you have bought in volumes. All the disc contain the exacted same thing on them too. There is no special features except for previews & short bio's on some of the cartoon cast members. This show is in English, & does not have subtitles for the signs that are spelled in Japanese, so most of the time you have to imagine what the signs say, & it gets pretty ignoring at times. However if you can't hear, they have subtitles for that also known as Closed Captioning. The reason this show is not cheap is because they have eight disc all together, you see that's where they get you, disc 2-8 contain only three episodes on each disc, which is a waste of disc space, but I guess to make money you have to spread it out. There is alot more wrong with this series but I don't feel like getting into it all because you'll be here forever. Overall I give this series a 3 1/2 out of 5.

1. Seize The Day.
2. Invasion.
