I really enjoyed this book. Definately a keeper. This book was written in 1983 & is typical of the writing style of that time. Keep that in mind when you read it. I love to go back & read books written in the 80's. I was in 7th grade in when I started reading romance in 1986. This book brings my initial joy in reading romance back to me. This romance has a lot of sadness & heartache in it, but a lot of joy too. The love between the two main characters is an awesome thing.

When a tragic accident crippled him, he had left her rather than become a burden... Five years later the wounds were finally healing. Life for Jillian was at least bearable. And then Jacob came back, ripping open all of the painful memories..."

The plot seemed interesting but the writing was awful! There was no depth to the characters and the violence was quite offensive - it was written in the 80s.
