We got this CD as a gift before our daughter was born in '05.....we listened to it as I was giving birth to her...and now she is 4 and all through her life we've put this on when things are particularly difficult or chaotic and it ALWAYS calms her. We now have an 8 month foster son and today while my daughter was dealing with the flu and the baby was fussing and I was feeling overwhelmed I put this on and prayed a little and,instantaneously, things were peaceful! I LOVE this CD!

This music is so peaceful and lovely. Kim Robertson is my favorite harpist thus far. There is something so uncomplicated and comforting about the way she plays. I highly recommend her music, and especially this CD.

This CD is lovely and I have the harp sheet music that goes with the CD. Kim is a lovely harpist and also an excellent teacher both in person and with her instructional books. Her arrangements for the songs that go with the CD are wonderful. My only complaint is that the sheet music seems to be missing the Tender Shepherd song that is included on the CD. Which is a shame because it is a lovely arrangement and the piano arrangement from the Broadway Musical is not nearly as nice.

Kim Robertson is one of the best Celtic harpers of the day. She performs her own arrangements of tastefully selected melodies, and she does this with skill and artistry.

One would expect an element of simplicity in a album of lullabies. Robertson's simplicity is radiant. This is one of the most relaxing CDs I own and I recommend it for everyone who likes New Age music, Celtic music, or simply gentle music. This is the 5th copy of Tender Shepherd that I have purchased. When people hear my CD, they love it, so I share it with them and buy another! This also makes a great new baby gift.

I bought a Kim Robertson Christmas CD years ago, and found myself playing it over and over long after Christmas had passed. The Celtic Harp music was so beautiful and could always calm me in moments of stress. Finally, I broke down and looked for some other of her CDs to play. This one did not disappoint. Beautiful, calming music that both my daughter and I enjoy and relax to.

This CD was given to us as a gift when my son was born. He fell asleep to it every night as an infant, and now that he has rediscovered it at age 8, he listens to it every night again. If you're looking for a unique baby gift, I highly recommend this CD!
