This is one of the most fantasically beautiful albums I have bought in a long time. The synthetic dream foundation effortlessly fuses dark classical music, electro industrial, and dark ambient soundscapes into an alchemy which could be aptly described as surrealist music. The album is hard and gritty at moments, yet sublime and translucent in others. One of the most diverse and haunting albums I own.

Ethereal electronic fantasy,

I normally don't listen to this kind of music (EBM?), but something about The Synthetic Dream Foundation just seems to stand out. Perhaps it's the almost ethereal, fantasy-world electronic sound of the music. The album art that TSDF uses for its albums reflects the sound of the music.
Good music to just get lost in. |
