Being a photographer, I am running a AA battery charger (or several) all day, every day. Any wall plug can be a victim to my chargers. I have had Duracell brand to the most generic of the generic, and this charger has served me WELL. I like that each of the dual battery slots has it's own indicator light.

I like this charger, and recommend it!

The description and pictures of this product don't give all the information. If you are buying for pedal boards, and wireless systems (mics, guitars and IEM) beware. The pictures don't show how the charging unit receives power from source. The plugs are mounted directly to the back of the unit which makes mounting the charger to a pedal board impossible.

Also the unit expects that you remove the batteries promptly after they are charged. With a 20 hour+ charging cycle for 9V (250mAh) that makes the timing difficult and annoying. If using as a musician look for a unit with AC adapter plug and that can handle leaving the battery in the unit as storage after charged.

On the plus side this is as cheap as they come. I will leave in the studio but not bring this on the road.

This charger working good, however it takes 10Hrs to charge 9V battery (That call Speedy)also no indecator LED when the charge is completed. It wouldbe nice if green light turn on when battery full charged.

Ordered 10th - Rec'd at noon - 14th - West Coast to VA .. Such great expedited services at Regular, very reasonable shipping rates. In wall - bringing 'back to life' 4 Solar AA cells/ And the beauty of all, they state right up front in AMAZON and all ads as does the pckg that it does BOTH, NiCd and NiMh - bought a Duracell last week - and HIDDEN in the tiny print inside the unit pckg, is NO NiCd - very discouraging to non-tech Seniors - will use as a gift 4 someone who doesn't use Solar cells or NiCd -

Highly recommend - product and seller.

12/15/09 - Next day - UPDATED - Right off the bat within 3 hrs as stated on charger this brought 'back to life' 4 AA cells that were in 2 of the neighbor's 4 path lights for just over 2 yrs. AMAZING - put 2 lamps back in place - last evening
and will charge the remaining 4 today - Add this to the 4 solar we have in this yard and it is like getting a HUGE return on your initial investment in solar yard/path lights.

I have tried two of these units with two types of 9V batteries (Radio Shack and Tenergy brands) and I didn't succeed with either. I was able to charge AAA and AA just fine. The customer service of the company is good.

I have a need for 9 volt batteries while performing in many shows. This little unit works just fine with the Tenergy batteries even if it takes a little longer to charge than some models I have seen advertised. It was worth the money!

I bought this charger for my camera batteries and had some misgivings over the quality. When it arrived, I found it to be sturdy, it performed flawlessly and was a great value. I recommend this great product.

Charger works great! It does what it's supposed to. I am very pleased with it. It's excellent for the price. There is no reason to spend any more money, when this does the job. Highly recommended.

I have lights outside my home that are not electrically wired but are solar and have rechargeable batteries as well. I decided to get this charger and it certainly does the job. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was that it takes 8 hours to charge the battteries. So my solution was to charge it overnight and that worked for me. It is a nice little charger and not very expensive and it fits my needs.

Not much to say for this product except that it works great. Great build quality. Great to have laying around.
