Honky Tonk At It's BEST!,

The guitar licks on this CD make it easy to understand why my father, Zeb Turner, had such a tremendous influence on guitar playing as we know it today. These songs take you way back to the days of Honky Tonkin when country music WAS country music! (not that I don't enjoy contemporary country as well, mind you)In addition to the awesome music, the lyrics take you on a journey back to the days of Tennessee Boogie music and it's lifestyles--a real treat to listen to. The story about Zeb, included on the CD cover was extremely informative and actually taught me things about my father and his contribution to music (country and rock!) that I never knew before. If you like Honky Tonk music, you'll LOVE Tennessee Boogie & Jersey Rock!! |
