Mark has one of the most beautiful and soothing voices there is... on par with Randy Travis and Marty Robbins... I would recommend this slept upon artist for anyone who wants a taste of real country.

Some of the best written country music in a good many years. Mark Collie is this CD reveals his many talents. Collie given the one chance would rival Nelson, Jones and Waylon. Everyone should have the chance to review this CD.

I had the pleasure of seeing Mark Collie and the Dogs live way back in the summer of 1993. He put on a great show, and took the time to do a "meet and greet" after the show.I could tell Mark was tired and seemed burnt out. I am a musician and know all the pitfalls of "living out of a suitcase" trying to scrape a living in the music business. It is really a crying shame record sales and awards are not based on talent like Mark's. Instead the music business picks who's marketable and spends the dollars needed to assure success. These artist are given awards and plugged over and over during the awards show. Many times have I seen a fantastic artist like Mark fulfill their record contract and fade into the past. Mark Collie blows away a lot of the "new country" being blasted down our ears on country radio today. Long live Mark Collie and all the other "real country artist" out there not given a fair shake. Buy this album you will not regret it.
