I very much like the sound of this track. It's laid-back but far from dull, earthy and sort of bluesy, a fine song from a band that sounds like it knows what it's doing. It'll remind you of Neal Young with a touch of Dylan, and more. There's sincere longing in the folky vocal style and the sad harmonica, and sweet harmonies that nicely highlight the very pretty melody. This is a gently swaying tune that takes you along as it goes. Give it a listen and you may find that, like I do, you want to hear more from this band.

This song is a journey worth going on. And when you pair it with the rest of the Veracruz EP songs, it only gets better. It's real music--layers of plastic-ness fall away and my ears seem re-tuned. "Every flower I see, even them Joshua trees remind me, that I don't have to bleed. But sometimes I want to. I'm always thinking of you."
