About the Author
Charles A. McAdams is dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Northwest Missouri State University. He is a 1980 graduate of Tennessee Technological University and a former member and arranger of the TTTE. Richard H. Perry is associate professor of music at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he directs the Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble and performs with the Southern Arts Brass Quintet. He is a 1987 graduate of Tennessee Technological University and a former member and arranger of the TTTE.
The subject of this book is the great Tuba Teacher and Performer, Winston Morris, Professor of Tuba at Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville, Tennessee. It has exhaustive lists of Tuba and Euphonium literature that Winston Morris has inspired, performed and commissioned, and also contains many anecdotes and comments from his former students and proteges about this great man.
