This is one of the two best books on doubles, the other being Blaskower's ART OF DOUBLES. Easy and fun book to read and gain understanding of doubles positions and strategy. It provides the type of training that identifies you as a "smart" player. You'll appreciate the thought and mental preparation you and your partner gain to help you beat better players. Why wait until you're one set down to try to figure things out on the court, in the heat of the battle? Think about your optimum plays and positions before you need them. If they sold this book at the tennis clubs the pros would be out of business! Good buy for teams.

This book in addition to Pete Collin's Successful Doubles (Video) put a player in an advantage over others who just play without the info in the book and the video. This is an easy read and should be read time & again as one's stroke-skill level improves. Every time I re-read the book, I appreciate it more.

The book stresses on body position (whether you are balance or not), court location and contact point. It explains what one should do, wants to do and one can do (there is a difference) based on your own body (as well your opponent's) position/court location (your and your opponent)/contact point (yours and your opponent).

The book shows very basic information that a lot of Club players can do and therefore make a game more predictable and easy.

If we are a good student in implementing the info, we all will have a fun time.

This is an incredibly simple and well written book that makes winning doubles play far more likely to be successful. He has a few fundamental laws he covers and everything builds off that logically. It's not complex or long, just filled with useful tips and instruction. I enjoyed it and saw immediate improvement the next 2 times out just by remembering the "most important line in tennis" on the court and obeying his rules regarding it. Worth the price right there! I've been playing for a while and have some tennis mastery that has automatically ingrained some of the common sense stuff he teaches, yet reading it reinforces and makes me more deliberate in executing it rather than flying by the seat of my pants on the court!
