This is focused on singles instruction and is a great drill and skills book for a coach. Most all of the drills are for multiple player training.
If you're looking for a book to give you drills to improve your tennis team, its a great buy. If you're looking for a book about strategy, what to do, and why, then this is not the book for you.
Besides having this kind of drills, this book shows you HOW, WHY and WHEN you should apply them to a specific game situation. Using diferent patterns of play, from the defensive player to the aggressive one, this book matches drills with tactics, giving you a good perspective of THE GAME.
I strongly recommend it.

A little disappointed in that the book mainly contained practice drills and diagrams rather than tactics and strategies.
Probably better for instructors.

Has more to do about tennis practice drills, then tactics. A good book for someone who is coaching or if you have two hours a day to devote to practice. Read morePublished on April 26, 2011 by JLC
