I was very pleased with the conductor tenor sax,I played saxophone professionaly from 1968 to 80. During that time i had a new york selmer, a martin tenor,and a conn 10m.
thirty years later i decided to give it another go around. the sax comes with all the accesories that you will need.
you should get a stand to set the instrument in and a cleaning kit. It,s important to clean out the moisture after playing the horn. all the notes play just fine, the tone is decent for a student to intermediate instrument, and i highly recomend it.

I ordered this tenor saxophone for my son who is going to be playing it in middle school concert band. It certainly was delivered in a timely manner, and is in good condition, except that the low Bb, B, and C# are not making a good sound, which is frustrating. It seems that the G# pad is slightly loose, such that some air escapes and makes it difficult to impossible to sound those notes. I will be trying to find someone who is good with saxophone repairs locally to look at it. Other than that, it has good tone in the higher registers. But I am not content with the lower register.

I wanted to give 0 stars to this piece of junk or the Instrument Store. My son has had The Instrument Store's Conductor 600 Tenor Saxophone less than a year and it had to be repaired twice. The repairman at the music store where we took it said, "I can't repair this instrument, it's so poorly made. It's beyond an inferior product." How can anyone take advantage of people like this! I emailed the company seeking help a month ago and haven't heard from them! Buyers beware!
