Tenors on Tour is a CD which will live forever. The opening songs by Placido Domingo, His arrangement of Blue Moon and Moon River, set the tone for the CD. To hear Richard Tucker do "Climb every Mountain" was a wonderful trip down memory lane. Who will ever forget him? Placido continues with Broadway..Maria from West Side Story and a Beatles song "Yesterday". Mandy Patinkin's "Over the Rainbow" is classic and wonderful! But in my opinion Jose Carreras has the most "goose bumping" production on the entire CD. His Ave (Maria) is so beautifully done it may just bring tears to your eyes. The "King" Pavarotti is the "clean-up Hitter with selections from LaBoheme,and he does "O Sole Mio" as only He can do it. This CD is a treat for anyone who enjoys fine music. You will play it over and over again.

This is one great opera album with a wide selection of songs performed by the best opera singers ever. The first 3/4 of the album are studio recordings of great popular music songs done by Domingo, Carreras and a few others, with the final 5 of 6 songs performed live in concert by Pavarotti. If you are a casual fan of pop-opera music and looking for one well rounded cd for your collection this could be it.

If this is your taste in music, and mine is quite varied...from Bruce Springsteen to Operatic Tenors, you will totally enjoy it while sitting in your comfortable chair with a glass of wine. Packaged well and quick delivery.

This is a "crossover" CD. Good listening for the car. Not stressful, but pleasant, easy listening. Who would have thought the calibre of these singers could be put into an 'easy listening' category.

This is a great compilation with the best tenors ever!Try this CD!
