Initial reaction opening the box was, "oh no, yet another cheapo headset I got suckered into." The box it came in and the plastic it's presented in were extremely flimsy but I grabbed the headset and immediately started to think otherwise.
PROS:
- The earphones are soft and pretty comfortable. So far, the longest session was 2hours of listening to music with a phone convo in the mix, however, my ears did get a little warm after that.
- The headset has a good, solid physical feel to them.
- Sound and bass are quite impressive, tested different variances with PowerAmp's Equalizer presets and all sounded good. Mind you, I don't consider myself an audiophile by no means but I do like good quality music. Sound is definitely way better than any earbuds. The bass doesn't come close Dre Beats which I've had the pleasure of experience from a friend but with that said the price doesn't come close either.
- The PRICE!!
CONS: (some just petpeeves)
- Biggest con is pretty big, when speaking with someone you hear them fine but they tend to hear themselves with a delayed echo. (2 of my friends have already told me this) I dropped the volume down and that fixed it but sacrificing slightly hearing them less in the process. Not too bad for ME, my primary purpose for this headset was music.
- Cheaper material used for headband (underbelly); it seems similar to another headset of mine where, after some usage, started to flake up on me. I hope it doesn't happen, I'll update if it does though.
- Controls are all on the Left side, I'm a righty that's just how I prefer to control things. Not the end of the world.
Summary:
I got this primarily for listening to music with good sound quality, this satisfies that quite well and especially for the price tag! I rarely do phone convo's with bluetooth so it isn't huge for me but there's always lowering my volume to fix that.
