4.0 out of 5 stars Shower Caddy
I purchased 2 of these caddies for both of our bathrooms. They go together very easily and offer ample space for all of our shower products. Be careful to position the caddy where you want it because if you try to slide it into place you run the risk of making a black mark on your ceiling with the black rubber endcap. I thought being stainless steel, the caddies...

1.0 out of 5 stars Product rusts
I thought if I paid more money I'd get a better product. Not the case. Although, they claim "rust protected", it rusted after a few months. I should have returned it, but it is too late. The warranty is only for one year.

Overpriced piece of junk! The pole bends, the plastic cap doesn't cover the section of the piece that extends, and the metal is flimsy and non-brilliant in shine. Very disappointed!!

Be careful to position the caddy where you want it because if you try to slide it into place you run the risk of making a black mark on your ceiling with the black rubber endcap. I thought being stainless steel, the caddies wouldn't rust. But, we have found that we need to wipe down our shower to prevent rust and mildew from accumulating on the caddy. For the money, I was a bit disappointed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Stainless Steel more like stainless steal, August 25, 2010

I purchased this product about a year ago and it is completely rusted. Had I known this I would have purchased it at the Container Store. It does everything else it should except not rust. I don't even have it under the shower head I have it placed on the opposite side and it still rusted. What a waste of money.

Assembly instructions were a bit confusing, the end caps were hard to get on, and shelves took a while for me to figure out, but after getting it up I am happy with it. It holds a lot of stuff, is sturdy enough, and looks nice in my shower. We will see if it rusts (only had it for a few weeks) however if it does I will probably take it back.

It was pretty easy to install but after only 2 months it started rusting. I couldn't believe it. What a piece of crap! You better pay a little extra for top quality, otherwise you better hope the color of rust goes with bathroom...LOL!

1.0 out of 5 stars Difficult assembly, March 13, 2011

The instructions were confusing and difficult, and the product weak. I have an engineering degree and I struggled to follow them. I am an independent woman but, geez, throughout the assembly I kept thinking that it sure would have been a lot easier with a man around. I've assembled huge garage shelving and Ikea kitchen cabinets by myself... but I didn't have the muscle to get this little caddy in place.

I bought this product for about $30 at Target. I bought a different caddy at BB&B for the same price and it was infinitely easier to assemble and a stronger product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Should have measured first., May 19, 2011
This review is from: Tension Pole Shower Caddy - Stainless Steel by Better Bath (Kitchen)
This is like seriously two inches two short for my shower. Two of the most annoying inches of my life. In attempting to fit it, the spring...stretched? I don't know how, but it has no tension at any high anymore. I'm sure it was my fault. But we rigged it. And although rigged (with a block on top to allow it to reach the "ceiling"), extended to the max, AND the tension spring being not very springy, it has yet to tip over. It even survived a drunken woo girl stumbling around while trying to wash cake out of her hair. So I suppose if you don't do anything I did, it should be okay.

4.0 out of 5 stars plastic ring supports for caddies desintegrate in one year, November 10, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Tension Pole Shower Caddy - Stainless Steel by Better Bath (Kitchen)
I bought a stainless tension pole caddy one year ago and installed it easily enough. The caddies require careful maintenance to avoid discoloration and oxidization.
But, the worst surprise was the desintegration of the black plastic supports that secure each caddy in its position.
I have tried to buy extra supports but no hardware store or large building supply stores carry the item.
The manufacturers of these caddies should find a more reliable material than the slim black plastic, or should make replacements available on their sites.
