Outstanding Subtle Lamp
I have one at each end of the couch on a dimmer, excellent for low earthy light while watching movies or using a laptop, the top is mostly closed so it doesn't throw a circle of light on the ceiling. Unobtrusive size, paintjob is acceptable but I will re-paint mine. Only good for reading if you are under it. Box packed smartly, no damage. Chock full of table lamp goodness.

Flawed
Yes this lamp is pretty, but it is also flawed in that one of the bulbs is way below the shade, so it shines in your eyes -- while the other is so high that it burns the shade. I did not return it as it's such a hassle, but I would very much like a replacement lamp.

The lamp I ordered came to me overly packed. This is good as the shade is mica and prone to cracks. I've very appreciative of their efforts.
